Puzzle 1 - Food & Sweets
No Diwali is complete without stuffing yourself with various foods and sweets made especially during Diwali. Be it Chakli, Chivda, Gulab Jamun, Mithai or Dry fruits and now even chocolates and cookies :).

Puzzle 2 - Rangoli
The rangoli represents the happiness, positivity and liveliness of a household, and is intended to welcome Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and good luck. It is believed that a Hindu household without a clean entrance and rangoli is an abode of daridra (bad luck).

Puzzle 3 - Laxmi & Ganapati -
On the biggest day of Diwali, Lakshmi puja is performed at every Hindu household of the country. Lakshmi is the goddess of wealth. The Lakshmi puja is performed in the evening to invite Goddess Lakshmi at home. People pray and wish for peace, wealth and prosperity in their and their family members life

Puzzle 4- Bhai Dooj -
The celebrations of Bhai Dooj are very similar to Raksha Bandhan, on this day sisters pray for a long and prosperous life for their brothers, and brothers give gifts to their sisters. According to Hindu mythology, Bhai Dooj is celebrated to commemorate Lord Krishna's sister Subhadra's loving gesture toward her brother

Puzzle 5 - Night of Diwali Lantern & Diya
In India it is typical to stand at the entrance of the home and see the sky lit up with fireworks and the entire house lit with Diya and Lantern. The scene captures a view that are familiar to many in India. Even though our young ones with their school schedules and everything might not make it to India - this is my hope to offer them a glimpse into what a night of Diwali might look like
